I use the same clips. You're right; there's no such thing as too many clips or clamps.

Don't you just hate it when you think you are ready to glue the back pieces and the center strip and then you see a gap. Fortunately no glue had been applied yet.

Back to the ole shooting board to true up the edges.

I finally got the back pieces trued-up. I really like John's CA method of joining the center strip to the back piece. Is naptha preferred for cleaning rosewood after I've finished with the scraper?

For sure. I used clothespins to save $ for this step and found they were strong enough without adding rubber bands. I had close to 200 on there overnight doing both sides.
