The Irish Bouzouki. I hadn't heard of it before. So knowing nothing about them I decided to build one. Plans based on Graham McDonald's book.

A challenging rosette. After the rosette was ready I had to mark the outline and the free rout the rebate. And then rout the sound hole. Definitely more difficult than a circle.

First time working with redwood. It's amazing how much it pops under a little finish.

I'm doing my first build with a redwood top. I really like how it looks. Your piece has a wonderful waterfall pattern.

A little more progress. Top and back are braced and the neck is glued up and truss rod slotted. I'm going with a laminated neck of mahogany with a walnut/maple/walnut center.
