With the help of Kathy Matsushita I was able to make some more progress. Here I am sanding the top radius into the bridge. Note the sandpaper taped to the top.

Stripping the finish where the fingerboard extension will be glued on, then drying the area before gluing.

Masking the body since I am going to use stripper to remove the shellac where the bridge will be glued on.

Gluing the bridge. I still ended up with a tiny bit of blue tape under the bridge.
