Inlaying the rosette. I had a hard time getting the inner ring to fit on the spruce top.

I may use a redwood top rather than a spruce top. I have both. The redwood top is shown below. I cut that out on my bandsaw.

Sanding the kerfing. This was a brand new radius disk and the sand paper had trouble sticking to the MDF. I've thought about putting lacquer or shellac on the radius dish and letting it dry to make a better surface for adhesion.

Gluing the top braces. I decided to move forward with the redwood top. I'll probably us the spruce top on build #3 which will have bloodwood back and sides.
