Having access to a machine shop has come in handy several times on this project for sure. I ordered tuning machines, a radius block, a bone nut, and a fretting hammer from Stewart MacDonald. I've started to fit the nut but haven't gotten to any of the other stuff yet. I've been working on carving the neck the last few days and am fairly close to having it finished. I have been using either clamping or double sided tape to hold it in various ways to a solid block and holding that block in a clamping table. This can be seen in the pictures and worked pretty well.
