I did not know about this forum when I was building my first guitar last fall - and early Gibson L-1 adaptation. I have a large family, so I put together a set of shots to try to explain to a non-guitar person what was going on. Here it is:

I have since mostly completed my second - a 000 12 fret with a deep body in Mahogany/Carpathian Spruce. I am enjoying this group quite a bit.

Either you know someone who already makes guitars or you put a whole workshop together really quickly.
I like the guitar pics, by the way.

Beautiful work! Gorgeous guitar!
Outstanding description of the building process too.
Where did you buy the kit?

Really nice work, Ed. For a first (or even for not a first) it's a very nice looking guitar.
Did you do the dart on the back of the neck yourself? If so, Salut!
Excellent first guitar.
