I'm not really a dread guy... but dang, that one will turn a guy's head. Niiiice.
Slowest builder on the forum. These things take time. Apparently.

Okay, I pretty much got this one done on Saturday. All I have left to do is to bring the string height down to a final at the nut. I wanted to let it sit a couple of days to see what the neck will do. I have the action set about medium at the 12th fret. I put Earthwood medium lights on.
The first sounds out? This guitar is LOUD, but it can be finger picked softly too. The overtones are subdued, but there is tons of sustain. It has a bright, rich even sound. The bass may not be as present as I'd like, but at least it is not boomy or over done.
I probably won't get a picture shoot in the yard done until this coming Saturday. In the mean time I'll see if I can get a sound clip made on the computer for you all. Last time I tried it I couldn't upload the file, and I'm not a Utube guy.
So final pics to come this weekend and perhaps you'll get to hear it too.

Kevin, it really is turning out quite nice. Sounds like you have the bracing part down really well with the descriptions of the sounds. Much jealousy.
Congrats on some great work.

This is just a test to see if I can post a sound file.

I see it works. I will endeavor to post some of my simplistic playing of this guitar sometime this week once I get the action fine tuned.

Here is this guitar front and center, being used by Lou in his band. He says he never gets his Martin out of the case anymore. :>)
