I want to get this finished for xmas.
This has been languishing literally for years.
It will be my present to myself!
Hope to work on the nut and gluing on the bridge later this week.

Great Christmas present. I did the same thing last year with my OM. I thought I'd be done by Thanksgiving and I ended up finishing about a week before Christmas.
I use the cheap Harbor Freight foam buffer too, but I have a problem with the bit coming loose when I use it in my Ryobi drill. I have to run the drill in reverse to keep the buffing bit from coming loose and falling out, which is strange. Do you have this problem? I do like the "furry" buffing pad that comes in the set at HF, but I had to buy another. My cat found it and thought it was a wonderful play toy; he even managed to find it in closed boxes and in the bottom of my tool bag. LOL
