What type of Mahogany is that...? The figuring really stands out ~ how lush!

I am not sure what kind of Mahogany it is. It was a nice set though. I finished the Parlor I have been playing it the last 2 weeks I recorded a few pieces that I will post so.
Here is the roughly complete bass with strings. It is loud!. I need to set the final action but it is playable now. Also I need to finish up the pickup instalation.

Wow. That is a beautiful Bass! I like the koa strip you used at the tail, I really like contrast like that. But what I fell in love with immediately was the wood you got for the back. It seriously looks like long hair on a lady ;-)
