That looks awesome!

What are you using for your neck/head block and tail block? Are you making those yourself?

Thanks TJ. The neck blocks come with the necks I get from Hanalei moon and the tail block I made from mahogany with a padauk strip to prevent splitting in case the guitar is dropped on the end pin.

Really nice craftsmanship there Alain. And nice details with the solid linings, I've been wanting to try that. Looking forward to seeing more.

Alain,

How do you choose which wood to use for the solid lining? Is there a ratoinale for using the cedar over say anything you might have left from shaping the sides? Just curious. I really like the look of the solid linings, and have heard rumors that they are better acoustically than kerfing.
