Hey Alain,
you worked that out nicely and the rosette looks awesome. You should be proud.

The body is assembled now. I got distracted and could not take pictures of the process but here it is assembled. Now that #1 is finished I can start the bindings on this one.

It's done!!!!!

I finished it a while ago. Sorry for skipping right to the end but I didn't take any interesting pics since my last post.

Again here are the specs...

Top - Bear Claw Spruce
Back & Sides - Padauk with sapwood - 4 piece back
Top Braces - Red Spruce
Back Braces - Western Red Cedar
Lining - Solid Western Red Cedar
Neck - Mahogany with bloodwood strip
Fretboard and Bridge - Bocote
Frets - Silver (12th fret is EVO Gold)
Head Plate - Curly White Limba
Logo Inlay - Hummingbird - Black mother of pearl, Blue abalone, White mother of pearl, copper eye
Fret Markers - Green Abalone Snowflake
Side Markers - Copper Wire
Rosette - Padauk sapwood with small herringbone
Purfling - Large herringbone
Bindings - Padauk sapwood with BWB lower purfling
Heel Cap - Copper
Tunning Keys - Black Gotoh 510 Delta 21:1
Nut & Saddle - Bone
Bridge Pins and End Pin - Ebony with abalone
Pore filler - Hoods
Finish - Vinyl sealer with Watco Nitro rattle can

The sound is very loud and unique with lots of treble and bass. Jangley is the best way I can describe it.

Enjoy!
