Good books for scratch -building?

Post by Morecowbell »

Another newb question: what books on acoustic construction do people like? I have the Cumpiano/Natelson book due to great reviews but am finding the alternating classic/steel string construction a bit difficult to follow. And as I do more research and building in my head I'm liking the "mold and dish" approach that John and others use. Seems like the Kincaid book follows this - any others?

Thanks!

I like the Kincaid book. There is a book called "A Guitar Maker's Manual", by Jim Williams, which I've found great information.
