Pickup placement in existing routed holes.

Post by realize »

Hello, I am new to this. It is my hope I can get help with electric kits.

Currently I am sorting out how to measure and place the pickups in the routings.
I am not sure what to go buy for the most accurate placement.

It is a guess that it involves exactly as much as possible where the pole pieces need to be,
in relation to the nut and bridge saddles. Any help is appreciated. Forgive me if this is already an older topic. Thank you! Charley

you want the spacing of your pick up to match the string spacing so you have to lay that out , then depending on the pickup that will determine the placement.
