I snagged an old Stanley from a wood guy I know. It's old and rough, grind marks still on back of blade. I didn't do a thing to it, not even adjust it. It peeled that pine board, rough and gouged from the Kunz, like a hot knife through butter. A couple of hand strokes on 1000 grit werordry and it curled a shaving off that mahogany neck like I knew what I was doing. You would all be shocked to see the edge bevel on this blade. Has a tiny little hollow grind and a tiny little micro bevel, with the rest just factory grinder marks. Maybe I try again to get a pic tomorrow - it's very enlightening how well this tool shaves with very minimal blade,work..
