neck question from new builder
don't know if this is in the right thread. I am doing a J45 style guitar (from michael callings plans). It shows the scale length at 24.8. I am looking to do a pre carved neck. At LMII, they have 24.9....what would I have to do different to the guitar to make that neck work? Secondly would I have to move the bracing and sound hole as a result? Any help you could give me would be great!

Re: neck question from new builder
you can do it as a 24.9 if you want to move the braces you have to layout the fretboard and locate it using the position of the nut

.1 of an inch difference isn't much. You position the bridge once the set the neck in the right spot, and you want the bridge to end up in the middle of the bridgeplate, so you should be OK at that small amount.

Thanks, i was just making sure. That even with the small difference...if an adjustment needed to be made, I could remedy that if needed.
