Neck Set Question

The StewMac instructions say to hold a straightedge across the top of the frets and that you're looking to have the straightedge just graze the top of the bridge. Just wanted to get some feedback to see if you guys agree with this or is there a different measurement to shoot for. Thanks a lot, Pete
