The UHMW sheet that John talks about using as a caul in his neck and tail block videos is on sale at Woodcraft.
If you are unfamiliar with this stuff, it is a heavy, dense plastic with self-lubricating properties. It is non-stick and low friction and durable. John uses it because along with all of those other properties it is flexible enough to conform to the radius of the tail block.
I intend to also use it as a spacer over the tail block when setting the geometry of the neck block while driving the bus.
There are 4 thicknesses available, and each one comes in a 4" x 48" sheet.
Their part numbers are 124225, 226, 227 and 228.

Thanks for the heads-up, looks like great material for clamping cauls and many other things (plus you can skate on it, but that's another story).
And don't forget thermo-moldable plastic, there must be a good use for this! Anyone use it?
