A twist is likely to be a problem, with or without pressure rollers. Even if it's pressed flat as it's being sanded, a twisted board will almost certainly spring back to its twisted form when the pressure is removed. One might actually do better without rollers, if one added shims to maintain the twist as the baord went through the sander. Then you might have a chance of sanding it flat. Warped boards are a problem! Try not to have them. :-)

Shims would work on a board that is 1/2" thick or thicker but if you've already thinned it down less than that, you'll have to rely on the braces and mold to keep them flat until glued up.
