Thanks Tony, it is actually parallel and not a wedge. The camera lies yet again.

It does look like a wedge. I have always done a wedge as they are very forgiving if you are a bit out with the cutting, this was a bit tricky for me a I had to get the width right and also the length but I managed to do it first time. I really like the way this one looks. I hope it sounds ok

I used the KMG hand held router jig on my first 2, and will again on my 3rd. There's no way I know of that you can dig too deep with it. Worst case, a cut could be shallow. But it's worked very well for me.
