000-12 and OM-14 side bending molds

Post by lonecedar959 »

Hi John

I bought your side bending machine and I have a question.

Is there a difference between the 000-12 and OM-14 side bending molds/patterns?

Can I use a 000-12 mold for a OM-14 build?

Thanks

Thought so - Thanks John...

Guess I need to order a OM-14 side bending pattern from you.

I will get it in.

Pat

I'm a little late on this, but MArtin made the 12 ret version for long time. When 14 frets became popular they chopped off the top of the upper bout to expose 2 more frets - other than that, pretty close to the same. Same idea with the Single 0 and Double 0 bodies

That's really good to know. Was wondering why they did that.
Thanks.
