Humidity Question

I keep my small shop at 55% but it has gone up to as high as 65% no higher do you think I am ok for kit building?

Normally I would say this is too high. However, if this build is for yourself and will be staying in this amount of humidity, it should be fine. If the humidity drops to 40% or so in the winter, you'll have a problem.

I have no problem in the winter time as I have a unit that takes care of that. I keep it at 55% . Like I said it is only at times it gets to 65% in the summer. I was just thinking I might need a de-humidifier .

I prefer to glue the braces at a lower RH . I learned that if you don't and the RH drops into the low 40's or 30's the top sinks
a dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment. Run it over night set to 45% you will have a more stable guitar
