these are also pretty good. I like these as they are a inch shorter and feel more comfortable in a tight area

I had heard that Walmart was trying to out-Amazon Amazon, but nut files at Walmart? Amazing. And, the same price as Grizzly on sale. John - how is the quality on the IBanez files?

The worst thing about this forum is that it costs me a lot of money! I survived the ruler debate, but yesterday I ended up ordering new nut files, because of this thread. Actually I've needed new ones for awhile, so thanks for the encouragement. The Walmart site indicated they were out of stock, so I ordered from Grizzly.

I must have missed something. I just checked the Grizzly site and listed "on sale" are the same nut files for USD $128.34. That's CAD $170.55! It does pay to shop around - I bought the same set of files from a Canadian source, where the current price is USD $70: http://www.japarts.ca/Uo-Chikyu/Uo-Chik ... -Files.asp

That's not a bad price for a set of 8. I paid almost that much for a set of 6 from Stewmac, and I don't think they're Japanese. These cover light and medium string slots.

Apologies - I realized at 3 a.m. that I had goofed, and the set I posted a link to is only six files, not 8, so not a useful comparison.
