Sander

Post by Diane Kauffmds »

I picked up an air sander. It's a straight line air sander. I'm hoping it will help thickness the wood. I bought it in conjunction with the jack plane. I have a nice mitotoyo dial indicator, so I can check the boards overall thickness.

Nice Diane. I have a straight line sander and used it on at least my first 3 guitars. Use 60 grit and it will take you down pretty quick, then follow up with an RO sander if you have one.
