New Side Bender

Built a new side bender and it exploded on the first attempt. So...re-engineered it (4 internal L brackets and 8 external straight brackets) and now it works like a champ!

I just finished putting the plate atop the screw tower on my bender, made from the same plans you used. Three screws tying the top cap to each crosspiece, and the plans-shown four screws tying the top cap to the towers. I hate putting wood screws in tension, or at least making them the critical path. The designer would have done better to draw the top being installed between the side plates, like the base, rather than putting the fasteners in tension. And I wish I was bright enough when I assembled mine to do just that, but I followed the drawing. Just thought of that fix as I was composing this note.
