Just picked up a Supermax 19-38 drum sander yesterday, and received my 000 and dred templates/halos from John Hall today! Next week...time to upgrade the dust collection.

If you're in the Savannah area and need to do some thicknessing...hit me up! I think a 6-pack of Blue Moon will do the trick ;-)

John...the templates arrived perfectly and look great! I wasn't expecting the back templates since they weren't mentioned or in the pics, and I was absolutely surprised! What was the name of that abrasives place you mentioned for the non-loading sandpaper?

Nice machine. Nothing like that "new machine" smell for tool geeks!

John, I've been using Aluminum Zirconia (Blue) which is better than Alum Oxide but it still gums up often when sanding East Indian Rosewood. Which silicon carbide paper are you using from the source you provided, I couldn't find it?

Sweet toy Ken. I have the old copy cat version of that sander, Ryobi 16/32. Life got alot better once I had it in the shop.
Congrats!

I'm jealous. I still have to go to my local Lumber store to thickness sand.
