Something to install frets with

I've made something to help me install frets. It's just a block of acetal (Delrin) cut to the radius of the fingerboard. I back up the neck with a block of felt in my vise, set the acetal block over the fret, and crank the vise to press in the fret. It applies uniform pressure the length of the fret and doesn't scar it. Whenever a try to hammer in a fret, I end up denting the top.

I use a piece of Jatoba - very hard wood - for the same thing. A refinement is to change the radius to slightly bigger than the fretboard to make sure it is putting pressure evenly along the fret.
