No More Binding Worries!

Post by Diane Kauffmds »

After my binding jig slipped, decapitating my second guitar, I decided that I should invest in a good cutter and bearings set. I compared the sets sold by Stewmac, LMI, and John Hall.

The set sold by John Hall, Blues Creek, surpasses by far, those sold by the other suppliers.

The set came very quickly in a nifty wooden box, with the cutter and all bearings neatly stacked on an allen screw topped spindles, which keep them secure and in order until needed. Each bearing is marked so that there is no guessing at the cut depth. The set comes with every bearing you can imagine for precise cuts.

Thank you John for the quick shipping and excellent cutter and binding set.

I also got this set from John. Really nice set. Gave up my purfling knife forever.
