Picked up a new plane the other day. This ones a keeper!

Finally took the leap and went big on a new hand plane. Was giddy when it arrived, made my first pass, and wow.....what a difference!

That's a nice plane, I need to get one myself. Would you mind me asking how much you had to give for it?

These are quality investments $400 is about the range. A good plane is a great tool. I have a stanley and miller falls but these low angle planes are nice

Nope, wouldnt mind at all. Got it direct from Lie Nielsen and they got me for $315.33 shipped to my front door. Only took about a week to get it. The one that I got is the Low Angle Jack Plane, with the Hot Dog attachment for using with the shooting board. They do make the shooting board plane, but I didnt want just a single purpose plane. The heft is perfect, the adjustments are simple and semi-foolproof. One of the good things about it is that there is virtually no side to side play with the blade, so no digging/uneven cuts anymore.
