mystery jig

Post by chrisdb »

I am returning to an old project... my first kit build... and came across this jig. I'm pretty sure it is a fretboard/ neck tool... but I'm drawing a blank on what and how it's used... Anyonr out there familiar with this?

It is a bit from a center line finder you probably have. If you have it on your center line you could use it to make sure your bridge is square to the center line. There is a stretchy cord that goes in the slots and holds the bit you are holding while adjusting it and provides a cushion against the top.
