I have used the Flieschman machine on the last four I have built. One was a D45 with muitiple purfling and binding channels to be cut. All you do is level the guitar to the work surface. Make a couple of test cuts and then cut the channels.
Pretty much idiot prooof which is a plus for this idiot!
I did the cuts on an OM42 last night. Very quick and accurate.
I thought about a tower but I liked the freedom of the articulating arm.
