Rounding chisel bevel a la Cumpiano

Sharpening and tuning today - Cumpiano recommends rounding the top of the bevel where it meets the top of the chisel shank. I believe it is to get better leverage on braces and such. I'm just rounding them off with a mill file and emory cloth. Is that it?
