Drum Sander

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

Guys, I don't know if you who are interested in getting a drum sander are aware that the Ryobi 16/32 drum sander that is no longer available (what I have) is still being sold under another name, and the price is half of what you will pay for the other guys sander.
It is a formidible tool in my honest opinion.
Here is a link to the company selling it. I bought a switch from them.

That's cool Kevin. Im thinking of building one but for that price I might reconsider. I assume you've used it to thickness backs tops sides etc. 1hp should be plenty powerful.

Yep, I also use it on brace stock, fret boards, binding that I make myself, etc. It is awesome.
I got lucky, got mine used for $150 with $50 worth of sandpaper for it too.
