Bridge pin hole slotting saws and files

This will seem a bit daunting but I cut my string slots in the bridge (and top) with a jig saw. I took a blade and ground it down until it would fit into a 3/16" bridge hole. The jig saw is a garage sale item which I modified by gluing a pice of heavy leather on the bottom. Insert the blade into the hole and cut the slot. I think you actually have better control than doing it manually especially if the jig saw is a variable speed one. Here is a photo. [http://www.wellsguitars.com/In_The_Shop ... ge149.html
