Fret Press for extension

I had this made for me by a friend who does milling and I plan on using this for re-frets on the extension. It's attached to the end of a radius sanding block. Obviously not my idea but a whole lot cheaper than one from a commercial company we all know. (Compare $40 to $173)

It is a nice piece of machining . I found a C clamp works well . I am would like to see pics of this in action.

It's a knock-off Jaws 3 from Stew-Mac. The radiused fret press inserts slide up into the side slots and is pressed down by the screws.

I still don't get how it works either.......of course, I've never looked at Jaws 3 so maybe that's why.

This may have helped. It's on a neck I'm doing a reset on but would normally be used when the neck is attached. (Sorry for the blurriness).
