I bought one of these wooden planes from Stephen Boone and I have to say it is really nice to use. I prefer it to the Ibex. The blade is thick and it cuts great. Brace shaping is a pleasure and I reach for this little plane quite a lot.

+1 to that, Mike. A really handy little tool.
I also use this a lot, from Lee Valley tools for around $20 - if it is kept really sharp it will do some great work for you.

Man! I hate to look foolish, but I've repeatedly searched the Lee Valley site and OTHERS and I can't find that plane anywhere, how bout a model number? Thanks
