deflection tester - got plans?

Post by deadedith »

I want to add deflection testing of my tops to my array of tapping, scratching, sniffing and occult practices.

I've been unable to find any clear step by step plans to build a deflection tester. Does anyone have such plans that could be shared?

Thanks

You might search on the OLF. There have been several discussions there on this topic with a lot of pics posted. I think it's fairly straight forward to build one from a picture.

Just saw a 5 part thread series on OFL's tutorial section.

There's some good stuff out in that section.

My plan is to not worry about deflection, and just go by how the top smells after thorough sanding.
