Not great, but not bad either. Where I had the most issue was from just south of the deepest point of the waist for about 5" - 6" toward the lower bout. That area is where the body depth changes quickly and I never was able to get the channel cut to the full depth there. Likely has something to do with the width of the base around the router bit. The rest went fairly well.

Still, as much as I hate buying the bearings for the SM or LMI bits......they provide a lot of control and it's one less variable to have to setup and worry about. The videos of John H. doing binding make it look fairly simple. I'm sure it's more difficult than John makes it look but seems about as simple as one can make the process.
