Say John, with the LMI or Stemac bits and bearings setups, how many cuts do figure to get before these start getting dull?
I've done 4 guitars with my Stewmac set, seems to still be okay.

I touch up my carbide cutters with diamond files -- perhaps I'm not skilled enough but after a few times I do see a difference, so much so I have offset programs that take into account the variations. There's a company out west "BAM Carbide" -- they do sharpening and sales (outstanding!!) I am sure they could provide some good info on this subject.
