Welcome to the forum Kevin. It sounds like you are zipping along quite nicely, I'm going at it a bit slower than you. I'm also building a rosewood b/s with zipper backstrip and herringbone purfling except mine is an HD-28, also from John. I haven't started my second yet but I have visions, too many visions, not sure which direction I want to go next, so many choices with body styles, sizes, wood species, binding/purfling, rosettes, etc... Decisions, decisions, but that's part of what makes this so much fun. Remember, WE LIKE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!
