Re: New Guy
my first kit was a stew mac 000. I really enjoyed building it and learned alot. I must also mention that when needed I received help with this kit from the folks on this forum regardless of where I bought the kit from. I recently bought one of KMGs success kits and received the first package of this kit which includes some of the basic tools and jigs that help in the building of the guitar. I wish I would have gone this route the first time around and am looking forward to receiving the second shipment which will be the rest of the parts.

Re: New Guy
I built this guitar from a John Hall Blues Creek kit. The quality was excellent, and John was around to help in email or on the phone. Actually the quality of everything I got from John has been excellent, bending machine, bending molds and guitar molds.
I switched out the more traditional bindings.

Re: New Guy
Something tells me the quality control level for toothpick kits is far less stringent than for stringed instruments.
