How to best glue a Richlite Fretboard of a 000 Martin kit

Hi,

My 000 Mahogany kit from Martin came with a Richlite fingerboard and bridge. What is the best way to glue those to the neck or the top respectively?

Is epoxy the way to go? I am not concerned having to remove the fretboard ever in the future. This is my first kit and I guess it won't be my last. :-)

Thanks for sharing your experience and advise.

Kind regards and greetings from Switzerland

Michael

I did titebond with the FB and HHG for a richlite bridge on separate instruments; both still rock solid.

Tank you guys,

I felt a bit insecure. I read somewhere, that Richlite is a phenolic resin/cellulose composite and that phenolic resins are notoriously inert. I did not really fancy the fretboard coming off once I adjust the truss rod....

Thanks for your help. Much appreciated!

Kind regards

Michael
