I purchased a Stewmac Mahogany Dread Kit last April and I'm finally getting around to start building. This will be my first build and I'm excited and nervous about starting. I'm thinking about buying a Blues Creek Mold. It just seems like a better way keep everything together than the internal cardboard method in the Stewmac instructions. Just had a few questions. From the molds offered by Blues Creek, which would be the correct one to fit the Stewmac Dread kit? Also, would using the mold change the building process as shown in the Stewmac instructions?
Thank you,
Pete

Re: Stewmac Mahogany Dread kit - External Mold
you need the D14 mold . That stands for 14 fret dred. As for building , the stew mac instructions are ok but they miss the boat on the top geometry. May I suggest this link and you can see how you can work with the kit. Also we are here to help
