Am starting an all mahogany 00 14 fret requested by my nephew. This is my second "all from scratch" build so I hope you don't mind answering questions as I go along. I'll post pics of progress.....
Body Mold is from John
Templates are from Waldron
Wood is fiddleback Mahogany from Hibdon
Initial specs provided by John (thank you)
1. When roughing out the dimensions for the sides, how much extra do you leave for radiusing? I've pencilled a 3/16" mark at the top. Is that enough?
2. I have 00 plans drawn up by Grelier. http://www.grellier.fr/plans.php?lang=en
Would you use his bracing or the Waldron bracing?
