Honey. Thats right "honey"

When building, slather on a bit of honey...just enough to coat the rod and prevent it form rattling
and then glue down wood fillet.

Or if its already build, then pop the 7th, drill a small hole down to that rattling rod and slowley pour in some hot honey. Plug and reinstall the fret.

Stops any rattle and you end up with a really sweet neck. :D :lol:

Nah...then you couldn't take your guitar on a picnic. It would attract ants. :-)

If the truss rod is rattling, it must mean it's not under any load. Just turn the adjustment screw until the rod starts bearing on something, and the rattle ought to go away. Or so it seems to me.
