Back bracing for modified design

I've modified Jonathan Kinkead's OM-style plans for a 12-fret short scale neck, so the upper bracing, sound hole, etc. have been shifted. Can the four back braces stay in the original position, or is their position somehow related to the position of the bridge or top bracing?
