Martin D28 bracing

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

John,
I just took an order for a dred. The guy likes the sound of the HD28. Is the bracing on the current HD28 anything like what you're showing here on the older D28?
If not, what is the main difference?
Thanks. This kind of post is alot of help to see how these guitars were made and braced.

the difference is the larger bridge plate and the bracing is 1 3/8 below the sound hole
the scalloping is about the same and the addition of the popsicle brace.
call me if you have any questions
