Been crawling along at a snail's pace! Maybe I'll have the bindings scraped and the body ready for porefilling this weekend.
I glued in the top purfling and binding in two separate operations. I've done it all in one go but this is much less stressful.

Very nice, I love the Mummy technique. It's amazing what you can do with a few dollars worth of cotton rope.

Thanks for reading everyone - the body is ready for porefill and finishing so I need to get started on the neck. While I was cutting/gluing and routing I thought I'd do another 12 fret maple neck and get a jump on a couple mandolin necks (menards mystery mahogony) which will just have the CF.
here are the slots for the Carbon Fiber and Martin 2-way truss rod. Not to bad for an hour with the router table.
