Yeah J this guitar is a real looker. Nice job.
Did you make that neck too? If so, nice job on the volute.

Yes I made it, the only items I did not make were the bridge pins and anything metal, other than that lots of blood ,sweat and tears!

Stunning guitar. How would you describe the sound? Bright like maple is usually described?

Yes Tim the sound is somewhat bright but quite incredible, I thought it might be a bit to bright seeing how it has a maple neck and body along with maple neck block,but the mid to high has a nice punch but the bass is deep and loud. The sustain is great ,I actually like the clarity of the Maple, and I believe as it ages and opens up it should get better. The guy I made it for put it through its paces the other night and said he grinning ear to ear. I see another one coming soooon.
I actually requested that the owner of this guitar sends me a sound clip of him playin for me to post in the future.
