Hello All,
Plans for a Baritone Acoustic 8 strings: Anyone know where I'd get them?
I've been scearching the internet looking for plans for a 8 strings baritone acoustic guitar and the only set I can find is on www.cadguitarplans.com. These plans are for a standard body guitar and I would prefer to build a cutaway bodied guitar. They also seem a bit on the expensive side when compared to (non-baritone) plans available elsewhere on the internet. Does anyone know if there is anywhere else I might find what I am looking for? Any info / help would be greatly appreciated.
Please helpm me

Here is a discussion about building a baritone guitar. http://www.mimf.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2902.
I built one based on a Martin 0000 body. I got a kit and body mold from John for one of my first guitars about 20 years ago, so I had the basics to go on. I also got a 27.5" fretting template and using this stuff put my own plan together. You could use a cutaway plan and modify it for the baritone neck and bridge placement. You will also need to establish the neck width and string layout for the eight strings.

And a YT video of some one building a baritone guitar including drawing plans (it's a cutaway!). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lv5wQNbytwU.
