I'm not a big fan of a bending pipe that is powered by fire, I'm leary about anthing that has a fire extinguisher on the "list of materials". Just sayin'...

Done 2 with the propane, 1 with a charcoal starter... charcoal starter let me move the process indoors. If i ever do a cutaway though, it'll be with a smaller diameter pipe and the torch again.

Any bending operation, even the machines, should probably be done with a fire extinguisher near.

Good point Darren, electricity can start/cause fires.

...it's not so much the electricity as the 300 degree wood. It can go up in smoke whether you heated it with propane or a heating blanket. :)
